“You should not get hot or cold while floating. Our self-monitoring float rooms regulate water temperature to 93.5 degrees Fahrenheit, which typically matches the temperature to a person’s external skin. We are also able to adjust water temperature to our floater’s preference, for those who may want a warmer float.”

“Bathing suits can be worn while floating, however most people prefer to float while wearing nothing at all. Clothes and hair ties can be restrictive, which can impede on relaxation and full sensory deprivation.”

“Many people prior to floating for the first time are concerned with whether they will feel enclosed or trapped.  Our state of the art float rooms are very large in size, and allow the average person to fully stand up once inside. The floater has full control of lighting from inside the float room, with the ability to choose between complete darkness or soft colors. Lastly, the doors into our float rooms can be opened at any time by the floater.”

“Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulfate) is a mineral which has been shown to help detoxify the body, strengthen the immune system, and provide relief for physical, mental, and emotional stress and fatigue. The high concentration of Epsom Salt in our Float Rooms is similar to what can be found in the Dead Sea.”

“Yes, completely! Before each float, water passes through our high-tech filtration system.  UV rays sterilize the water through this process, and our filtering system removes water impurities. The high concentration of Epsom salt in the water also provides a natural barrier against diseases and germs. Each person is also required to shower before entering the float room, which helps alleviate oils or lotions that could make the water filmy.”

“The Float Spa provides most everything you will need for your float experience; this includes towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and cut protection. We also have a fully functional powder room on site, with mirrors for make-up, and outlets for hair care. We do not, however, provide footwear for our showers.”
